This
installation was created over 3 days in Ilam's grounds
It was made from natural materials without nails, screws glue etc
It represents Father Bertrum's hermit life after his wife and child
were killed by wolves.
materials:
dead tree, ground ivy, forget-me-nots, hazel, stones.
A fallen tree, I bent hazel stems and secured them to both of these large branches
and I weaved ground ivy between the hazel to create a solid bed of greenery

I made a small cross from hazel and laid it in the corner of the ivy

I created a small hole so the head stones of wife and child could be seen

behind I laid a carving, part finished, of his wife near the stones
I placed forget-me-nots into a knot in the lower branch

and, out of stones, I made wolf prints leading to the tree
